Alotta Gelato is a lovely surprise in old historic Silver City, offering Italian gelato in myriad flavors, including the sugared types (Gila Conglomerate....a play on the local geology) and sugar-free types. Their fruit varieties are especially tasty during the hot summer months. As well, the offer baked goodies prepared by one of our local custom patisseries; think carrot cake, lemon bars, and killer brownies. Mitch and Starr run the place with humor, easily shared insights into the local community, and political wit of a cynical nature. Wander by and treat yourself to some yummy treats.

They encouraged tasting so that you don't get something you don't like. And the people were so outgoing and nice! Generous hours. An overall good experience.

I'm glad you enjoy our fruit flavors. Each one has about 600 grams of real fruit added to each 4-liter batch (except the Lemon flavor-- you wouldn't want us to add 600 grams of lemons!)...and that's in addition to the flavorings we make them with.

Many customers visiting us for the first time ask: "Don't you have anything that's dairy-free?" Some of them are startled when I tell them that we have *9* of them available!

Thanks again for your enthusiasm!

I love the gelato served here. Also, they have a nice set up where you can go in and play a bunch of board games they have available.

It's gratifying when someone appreciates both our product and our atmosphere. We're firm believers in the concept of a 'third place'-- when you're not at home (your first place) or at work (the second place), you can come here, meet your friends, have a treat, relax, read, play a game, etc.

PS: Congratulations on your recent marriage!
