I grew up here and always enjoy coming back to the Memorial, as we call it. The grounds are well maintained and the kids have a great time running up and down the steps and all around. The bridge is always fun to walk across too!

Wow, if it wasn't for George Rogers Clark, there may never have been an Indiana. Nor Ohio, Wisconsin, Michigan and Illinois also. Learn a lot about how a ragtag but determined group of American and French fighters helped take over a British fort during a small yet significant Revolutionary War battle that altered the course of American History.

We came for a day in Evansville. This was the last stop before going to eat. We walked thru the visitor building which was nice then to the river. We saw the tour guide was unlocking the monument. Several people saw this and went in. The guide answered all questions. This was much more than I expected. It looked like something that should be in Washington DC. The murals inside were really awesome. The whole area was really nice.

We have been many times to the George Rogers Clark Memorial Park. Great for educating kids beautiful to look at & take photos. The park has a visitors center with short film on the history of the area. You can walk along the river. Lots of other historical activities in the area! Can't miss.

Interesting for all of the family to see located in Vincennes, IN. Great for any history buff or those interested in early American history. Great facility with audio playing describing the history of George Rogers Clark and his men.
