service is well, depends on your server and if they ever get to you. food is fast food/bar food. for a wing place their wings are small and not very juicy. it's good for a stop in to kill time while waiting for the lirr

It's a great sports bar with great bar food, but the service is shakey at times.

Since its inception as 'Buffalo Wild Wings and Weck' (a/k/a BW3) in Ohio in the 1980’s, Buffalo Wild Wings has undergone a significant transformation. I remember it fondly from my college days in Bloomington and Indianapolis, Indiana as a chain of bars in eclectic spaces that served really good food, had a wide selection of beers, and (probably most importantly) provided access to the NTN trivia game.
Over the last 10 to 15 years, along with the name change, it’s morphed into another mid-priced, marketing-driven chain restaurant placed in nearly identical purpose built spaces (think Applebee’s with big TVs, a larger bar, worse food, and a wing-focused menu…but hey, I’ve been drunk in an Applebee’s bar or two in my time…ain’t no shame) with a sports bar theme. As a restaurant, the food is very mediocre (unless you have a severe addiction to hot sauce and chicken wings…like I do).
They still have the trivia game and a wide selection of beers that, when combined with the hot sauce and dead chicken products keep me coming back time and time again. However, if I had another good option for NTN trivia near my apartment, I’d go there. The value proposition just isn’t there. The prices vary by location, but $7.99 for 12 exceptionally bony and small chicken wings dipped in some butter and hot sauce, and ~$5 for a domestic beer seems high to me. Even if you stick with a soft drink, you’re looking at $12-15/person for dinner, and, to me, that’s a bit much for what is essentially dressed up bar food.
