“Amazing food, esp. for the ethical eater in us all.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 29, 2012

The farm was a great place introduced to me by a friend who lives in the area. She swears by it and from the experience that I had, I would have to agree. Although it was a little pricey, if you "believe" in eating locally and ethically harvested food, this is your spot! The burger that I had was amazing and flavorful and the veggies were fresh and bright. My vegetarian/gluten free friend was also well satisfied and the server/cook were happy to adjust. For the "socially aware of us", this is a must and also a delight for all!

“A little gem, especially for vegetable lovers”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 18, 2012

a little restaurant with great art work on the brick walls
very sensitive and accommodating service
reasonable prices
exquisite combination of seasonal tastes with a great variety of delicious vegetables
desserts oddly served, small portions large portions but still delicious, especially the almond, blueberries, and vanilla- all in one!
This little place is really worth a detour for the culinary treat.

“great thanksgiving fare”

A bit pricey but very good. Small but has friendly ambience. The chocolate bread pudding was divine and the red cabbage salad was unique but tasty

“Unique dishes and fabulous flavours”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 7, 2012

Not a huge range of veggie options at this farm-to-table restaurant in the lovely Ditmas Park area of Brooklyn but that does not detract at all from the fabulousness of this place. The kale salad starter was nice, but it was the roasted squash with pickled blueberries and polenta chips that just blew my mind! Then to top it off, the chocolate mousse was perfectly complemented by a salted cream...yum! Service was excellent and it was obviously a family friendly place judging by the number of children in the restaurant. Would thoroughly recommend. Oh, for the non veggies out there, there were loads of great sounding meat dishes. And if you're in the mood for something sparkly, there is a great New Mexican sparkling wine on the menu.
