“Great breakfast”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 21, 2013

We caught the subway from Midtown just to eat here on Saturday morning and we weren't disappointed. We wrote our name on the waiting list and it was probably only 15 mins before we were seated, we were a party of 2 and shared a table with another group of 3 but that didn't bother us. The french press coffee was lovely and my partner had the best ever vanilla milkshake he's had for a very long time! My eggs on toast were really tasty with a side of candied bacon (bit too sweet but was nice to try it) and kale. My partner had eggs and grits. The hasbrown that came with my meal was amazing and very unique. Service was very friendly and quick. When we left the line for a table was very long so get here early and enjoy a great meal!

“Good quality hangover cure”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 17, 2013

Came here on a whim seeking something tasty but mainly to blast away a hangover. Small wait in the lobby area before, with putting your name on a list a good idea to avoid squabbling. The meal did the job, with the delicious eggs Rothko and interesting country scrapple. Had tried neither before but both were a pleasure, in particular the eggs and a nice combination I might try and make at home. Coffee was of a high quality and the orange juice freshly squeezed and great. Left happily fed, slightly less hung over and pleased I had popped into Egg.

“A Great Breakfast in Williamsburg”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 12, 2013

A cozy place near Bedford avenue, but get here early because it fills up quickly! Service was on point & very friendly. Their signature breakfast dish Eggs Rothko is awesome, their hashbrown is very unique almost like a potato croquette but stuffed with shredded potato,The scrambled eggs were the lightiest & fluffiest I ever tasted, & the bacon was yummy, plus the french press coffee is very good and made my breakfat complete. Thank you Egg! Check this place out soon! Cheers

“Great chilled out brunch”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 5, 2013 via mobile

A friend recommended this place to us and it didn't disappoint! Eggs Rothko was wonderful, my partner added bacon and sausage to it which just added to its greatness! I had giant pancakes with maple syrup and bacon, just lovely! Friendly service, bright airy cafe style tables. Expect to queue!
