This is where my fiance and I go on a weeknight when we just want to relax and have a good full meal. They get busier on weekends, but weeknights are perfect. The first time we ate here, I wasn't wowed by the bread they serve before your meal, but the meals themselves are fantastic! The mussels are delicious, as well as the lamb shank, fish, and duck confit. The servings are pretty large as well. We've had one particularly friendly waiter, but the rest have been just so-so. No complaints there. It's nicely furnished inside, so it's a cozy dinner spot. They have outdoor seating as well.

Went with my husband on Saturday night at 7:30. The place was packed, thankfully we had a reservation. We started with appetizers; hubby had onion soup and I had escargots. Both were excellent. We also ordered a carafe of house wine. For our main course, hubby had beef bourginon, which was very flavorful and a nice portion. I had a "steak frites" or hanger steak with fries. It was very tasty, nice portion but a bit tough. The service is excellent always. We did not have any coffee or dessert but you always get a truffle with your check. We didn't like the truffle this time, just too much cocoa!!! Please go back to your old recipe for truffles! The bill was $56.00 without tip. Go and enjoy this place it is always a great choice!

The new restaurant at this location -- Le P'tit Paris -- is a wonderful French bistro. The service is terrific, the food even more so. The French Onion Soup is light and not overpowering like some I've tasted. Their take on Steak Frites is a perfectly cooked sliced hanger topped with delightful shallot butter sauce. My daughter lives in the neighborhood, so we'll be back soon, but this place is worth the trip to Windsor Terrace on the F train. Only drawback -- parking on the street is very limited There may be spaces on 18th St. adjacent to the Prospect Expressway, about a 3 block walk. And bring cash if you don't have an AmEx card.
