“Good location by the sea; friendly, informal atmosphere and fresh fish in Brooklyn. Oner Ayan”

If you go to Liman , you should try different varieties of fish, not the standard Atlantic Salmon. Especially oily dorado or sea bass is good for grilling. Ask the waiters if there are any day's catch and do not forget to match with one of their salads. Service people were friendly and it is a kind of place which is fun with a group of people rather than only two. Not many public transportation options but in Brooklyn most people have access to car or you can call a car service to the nearest subway station. It can also be nice option before or after a JFK flight, just on the way and very close to the Belt Parkway entrance from Sheepshead Bay. Oner Ayan .

“Too expensive for what they serve.”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 16, 2011

My husband and I ate this restaurant recently and although the food was fresh and tasted okay, the prices were ridiculously high. We ordered 2 appetizers, 1 wine, 1 soda, 2 entrees (dorado and st. peters), 2 deserts and 2 teas. The bill came out to $140, not including tip. The food was good but we definitely had better food at Greek sea food restaurants in Astoria. The decoration and cleanliness of the restaurant is also questionable. They had cheesy, old and dusty haven't been cleaned in years "sea" decorations hanging all over the place and the carpeting was old and smelly. For the prices they charge for an average restaurant in Brooklyn, they should invest in decor. Also, service was spotty, the Russian hostess was rude and the waiters were running all over the place rarely checking up on you. Do yourself a favor and spend your $140 plus tip at a good restaurant in the city. Not worth the trip to Brooklyn, for an average restaurant with average food and spotty service.

“Great Fish !”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 19, 2011

The Turkish salad food was well prepared - even though we must have been the 2nd group of customers of the day ( about 1pm on a Saturday)
Prices are medium Portions are large.
Good location - on the water - with 3 different dining areas.
Will visit again.

“Make sure you ASK how much everything costs!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 25, 2011

No prices on alcohol and deserts, and when the check arrives....you're going to pay BIG TIME!

They charged me $18.50!!!! for Kenafe desert with 1 scoop of ice cream(when the desert waiter comes with the desert tray there is no mentioning of any prices), $13!!!! for Bacardi & rum and $10 for Heineken Bottle....The St peter fish was quite good but comes with no side dishes, which will cost an extra $8 and they added all sort of hidden fees on my bill that i didn't like at all.
