We've previously recommended this hotel, but no more. In 3 out of 4 stays we have been awakened in the middle of the night by the fire alarm. To make matters worse, the front desk does not call or answer the phone to tell guests no need to evacuate. They also gave us a room in which the shower drenched the entire bathroom in standing water.

I had booked a night in Hotel Le Bleu but when I finally arrived there after a long flight from Amsterdam they informed me that they were overbooked and did not have a room available. Why? They had guests who did not want to leave the rooms and stayed longer in the hotel than planned! I was not the only one who was redirected to another hotel. It was only 10 minutes away and a simular, brandnew hotel. The hotel was the Best Western Arena. Indeed new, but with an ugly style like all Best Westerns. I did not like the neigbourhood, although it was not bad, and with a lot of noise from the metro which was 10 meters away.

Hotel Le Bleu looks like a very modern, trendy and stylish place, and also describes itseld like that on the website, but the manager claims that it is simular to a Best Western. What a joke!
And the management is not able to manage their reservations. I was not the only one who was overbooked. Very unprofessional and absolutely unacceptable.

My husband and I lived in Park Slope, Brooklyn for 6 years, and when looking for a place to stay in the City, we decided to try Le Bleu. What a great deal it is compared to Manhattan hotels! The rooms are stylish, quiet, and come with all the bells and whistles, and a not-outrageously-priced mini bar. The entire hotel is immaculately clean, and we arrived in time to nab a free parking spot...imagine that! One block away is 5th Avenue, with non-stop bars, upscale restaurants, casual eateries, and classic NYC diners. I am sure people unfamiliar with the area will be alarmed when they see the industrial location (sandwiched between a taxi yard and UHaul), but its the reason you are getting such a bargain on a room that would easily cost 3x as much over the bridge. A cab from our West Village restaurant cost less than $20, and the subway is a few short blocks away. The continental breakfast delivered to your room is a sweet touch, we just wish it came with real milk or half&half instead of those terrible powdered creamers. We will be back soon!

Very neat, clean and trendy. Rooms are a nice size for New York. THey really need to find someone to open a restaurant and bar.

I stayed here as it was reccomended by Cunard for the cruise out of Brooklyn. Your kind of stranded if the weather is inclement.

In nice weather Park SLope 5th ave is 1 block away.

Oh yeah, it's located in an industrial area between a Taxi dispatch garage and PEP BOYS AUTO( if you know this you won't be shocked when you pull in.

I've stayed at Hotel Le Bleu several times, with family and solo, and it has always been a wonderful experience -- by far, our favorite place to stay in the Brooklyn/NYC area. Rooms big enough for family of four, and safe when you're solo (the guest floors can't be accessed by elevator without a room key). Extremely comfortable beds, beautiful interior design, very convenient to transportation, safe and central location with many good restaurants and shops within a block or two, refrigerator in room, huge shower with rain-shower head, mini-bar and snacks, directTV, continental breakfast delivered to your room in the morning -- and free parking! which is practically impossible to find in NY hotels. And the staff is very friendly, helpful, and pro. We love Le Bleu.

We found Hotel Le Bleu to be exactly as pictured in the hotel website photos. There is not a great deal of floor space, but the room and furnishings have been designed/arranged so that everything is convenient and efficient. The bath/shower area is not a separate room but designed to be part of the room. The glass-enclosed shower has a curtain available for release that provides privacy when desired. The bed, with very nice linens, was superb in comfort. The breakfast box was delivered-piping hot- at the requested time each morning. Breakfast can include bagels, muffins, croissants and yogurt, accompanied by butter, jelly, and cream cheese- all requested the night before on a door hang-tag. The room comes supplied with coffee maker and coffee/tea. The hotel, located in the Park Slope area of Brooklyn, is a couple blocks from Brooklyn shopping and restaurants. The subway is also a couple blocks with direct access to Manhatten on the F train- a 20 minute trip. The front desk staff was very cordial and helpful. Our group found that our 4 night stay at Hotel Le Bleu provided restful, comfortable sleep in preparation for our busy days in Brooklyn and Manhatten.

Room Tip: Our room looked over 4th Ave., route of the NY marathon. We enjoyed watching the marathon set-up an...

This hotel is in the area of Park Slope, Brooklyn. Stayed there for 6 days. Hotel reception so so, quoted wrong rate for airport. Breakfast delivery, prompt and fresh toasted bagel is a great start to day. Fantastic local restaurants next street in 5th Ave (Stone Park cafe, Juventino, Alchemy and more). Nearby laundromat-drop off and pick up within day service, rates at $0.80 per lbs which is great. Clean and efficient.

Takes about at least half hour by train to the city/ Manhatten as this hotel location is what I consider the outskirt area. Recommend buying the 3-day Metro card or more days that covers trains, bus...check. Also, the City Pass to popular tourist sites.

Room Tip: Hotel deducts from your credit card as soon as you check in. So make sure you are happy with locati...
