“Amongst the best pizza in Brooklyn”
Reviewed May 29, 2012

The food here is great. Go for the antipasti sampler and any pizza. Pay special attention to the pizza specials. Those are usually very fresh and/or creative. The main dining room is nice, but a little cramped and loud for me, so we usually try to angle for the garden. The garden isn't the nicest one in Brooklyn (by far!) but it's adequate, and you'll cease to care once the food arrives.

“Slice of heaven”
Reviewed April 12, 2012

By far the best crust/pizza I have had in the recent past. I live in Forest Hills right near Nick's Pizza, voted one of the best pizza's in NYC. This surpasses it and it is a close second to the pizza in Italy if you can't afford the airfare. The crust is just the right amount of crunchy to chewy ratio that is so hard to perfect. The sauce is not overpowering but complimentary to the overall pie. This restaurant is a great example of quality ingredients executed well make for amazing results. Quaint and affordable, worth the trip. If you are waiting in line at Grimaldi's hail a cab for a short trip to Bedford Ave. You'll be glad you did!

“Large Variety”
Reviewed April 1, 2012

Love the large selection of pizza to choose from and how its menu was separated by the history of the pizza place (recipes from it's origins in Naples, to various regions of Italy, to it's current home in Brooklyn). The crust was a bit crispy for my taste but the toppings made up for it.

“One of the Best Brick Oven Pizza's in NYC”
Reviewed March 1, 2012

This place serves great Brick Oven Pizza. I have been to many in the five boros and have to say this one rates in the top 5 or so. I have been here many times and it never dissapoints. The Al Roker Pizza is awesome. The place is a little samll. It is located in Brooklyn and most people dine in the backyard which is your typical NYC (brooklyn backyard) It seems kind of strange but it is actually pretty cool and has a great feel, especially for someone who grew up in the city their whole lives. The service is not to good but I can deal with it for the great pizza. This is very close to what you would get in Southern Italy.

“Great Pizza”
Reviewed February 7, 2012

One of my daughters lives in Brooklyn and took the rest of us here for a Saturday pizza night. The pizza, made using wood fired ovens, is outstanding. the crust was light with a nice texture and not at all greasy. They have a nice selection of wine and the staff is very helpful in selecting both wine and pizza.
