Nice little place to have a cocktail or two and grab a bite to eat. Atmosphere darkly lit and gothic. Relaxing and different. Big bar with friendly people. Nice addition to Bay Ridge.

Its a Pub-type of a place, somewhat loud, but decor is pretty kool inside. The food was OK but can't say I am looking forward to going again. Its a bit on a heavy side for me although I did like various mac and cheese options they had on the menu.

Stopped I for a late lunch today. The Bartender recommended the Cobb Salad. Without reservation the best salad I remember having. Serious super crunchy yet tender inside bacon bits thick enough to remember forever. Excellent tap selection in a warm dark wood upscale bar setting. If you're looking for a good time in Bay Ridge this should be considered.

With a variety of beers, both on tap and bottled, you are sure to find one to enjoy.
The menu has something for everyone's tastes from the appetizers to the main course.
We loved the Irish breakfast served on Sunday's for brunch, and made us wish that we were in the Wicklow Hills or the beaches of Galway.
The music on the weekend is great but a tad loud for dinner conversation.
The decor is authentic from a church rescued in Ireland and though stone, gives a very warm feel.
Come and enjoy a taste and sip of Ireland!

Dining at the Wicked Monk is a fun experience. The wood at the bar, stained glass, and church pulpit have all been salvaged from a monastery in Ireland. Now to the food. We had mussels in white wine which were good but the entrees were spectacular! We had salmon with roasted potatoes and tuna steak both cooked to perfection and presented flawlessly. The servers are not only knowledgeable, but very attentive and friendly The combination of good food and excellent service is why we go out in the first place. The Monk provides it all!
