Very cute and great food - and I am very critical of italian food! I tried a few dishes, and was quite impressed: simple but good, just like they do it in Italy

Loved the Italian atmosphere and gorgeous Tuscan food. Meat and pasta is home-made exactly like in Tuscany. Bread tastes like it´s just been baked!!! The waiters are lovely, they explain everything to you, and the Italian wine they serve is top quality. Excellent price-quality relation. It´s always full. If you don´t want to wait for a table go around 7 pm.

Luckily meeting and eating early worked for our schedule. Had a wonderful evening, great food all around, 2 bottles of reasonably priced wine. A bit expensive for everyday night out, but for special occasion fits the bill. Friendly, neighborhood atmosphere. Interesting food - though the black ink squid risotto didn't appeal to me. I stuck with the homemade squash ravioli.

Another recommendation from a friend and this was a good one. Not the usual fare and everything local and organic at this Venetian inspired restaurant. We went for a late lunch and got right in. I have seen it at night and it is immpossible to a table. I had the grilled fish sandwich - that day it was bluefish - and they complemented this strong fish with a great aioli - delicious. We shared an Insalata di Forno - also excellent and the greens had that wonderful real taste that you get from organically grown produce. Definitely worth a visit.

This is an incredibly loud, tightly packed little restaurant that serves reasonable food - small servings on little plates (I do not think regular size dinner plates would fit in the space) from a limited menu at fairly steep midtown prices. The service is above average but also pretentious. I waited many years before eating at this holy grail of Park Slope cuisine - should have held off a little longer.
