First visit to Brooklyn Heights. While walking towards the Promenade, my wife and I spotted this location with outdoor dining. The burgers and pasta dishes looked delicious. We grabbed an outdoor table and both ordered burgers. They taste even better than they look. Cooked perfectly, thick and juicy with perfect toppings. The iced tea was good, too.

My husband an I had a beautiful brunch at this trendy spot in Brooklyn Heights. The eggs benedict with the crabcakes were delicious. The poached eggs were perfect. Hubby had an omelet with bacon and sausage as sides. It was a lot of food and it was good. We sat outdoors on a beautiful Sunday. The bathroom for the ladies had a line which spilled out into the dining room which seemed bothersome to the inside diners.

We had dinner at this restaurant. The location is perfect, close to Brooklyn Heights Promenade in a quiet neighborhood, so it's quite easy to enjoy a view on the skyline of Manhattan after diner. After finding a table it took quite a long time before somebody came to ask what we wanted to eat or drink. When we asked for service the first reaction was kind of coolish, but the waiter that came to help us afterwards was more than friendly and made up for her colleague. The food itself was good and tasty, and it was great to sit outside on the terrace. All in all a good experience.

The reason I titled this the new heights cafe is because they have a new look the cafe was just renovated and it looks Great! The same nice people are still here but the menu has some changes, and the food is very good. The fried chicken with mash potatoes is simply the best, the lobster roll is very good and they give you a lot of lobster. The co-owners Joe and Greg make you feel so at home and of course Todd the bartender is Great. And they have a new addition Julie-anne from Almondos is now onboard.

I preferred the previous diner format, but the upgraded bistro atmosphere is nice too. The selection has narrowed and the prices reflect a more upscale clientele, but we enjoyed our meal. Good for a group brunch or lunch.
