Great food. The only middle eastern food I've tasted in NYC that compares to my Armenian/Lebanese grandmother's. I suggest, umm, everything on the menu. Hummus, cauliflower, greenbeans, kibbeh, moujederah. Just order a bunch of the small plates and share. Bay Ridge seems far out there but this place is not to be skipped if you like Middle Eastern food and flavors.

Just brought home some take out: Beet salad, caramelized brussel sprouts, and Baba gonoush. It was all delicious. Ca't wait to go back again.

Tanoreen is my favorite restaurant in Bay Ridge (which has lots of restaurants). If you ask anyone else, I'm sure they will tell you the same thing. The food is always awesome, and the service is great. The owner is always there, personally checking on tables and making sure everyone is happy. She is great. They have the best hummus I have ever tried, and a delicious, cheesy dessert that was featured on the Food Network.

I've lived around the corner from this spot and have frequented it often. I hadn't realized that their take out is great as well. So convenient to just pick something up on the way home or to the train. Their sandwiches are unlike any Mediterranean sandwich I've eaten.

The lamb kabobs were delicious as well as their hummus. While I'm not a fan of grape leaves they have an extensive menus. Their cucumber salad and falafals (sp?) were great as well.
