Popped in here for dinner prior to an event at BAM and were pleasantly surprised by how decent this place was. Though it was busy on an early Wednesday evening, we were seated and had some nice glasses of chianti with spaghetti carbonara and there is a "to share"pizza appetizer that we just loved. In and out on time for the show and with a good meal to show for it. Not expensive. Will be back.

This restaurant if close to BAM and so we popped in on a warm Friday night. The doors and windows were open in the front so we sat there because the back room was too warm. They also have outdoor dining in the front. The food was just OK and very reasonably priced. Waited forty minutes for the food and had to ask for bread. Maybe they were short staffed the night we were there. Friend's panini was fine; my ravioli was warm, not hot. Quite tasty though.

Holding four tickets for the BAM on a Saturday night. Followed the recommendations of the TripAdvisor foodies in the prior reviews and made a 6:00 reservation at Scopello. Could not have been a better choice. Tremendous Grilled Calamari Salad, tasty Caesar salad, delicious homemade Pasta entrees (I enjoyed the .Linguine Alle Vongole). Reasonably priced entrees. Perfect menu for theatre goers (not too heavy) with an emphasis on pasta and seafood dishes.

Located in a great location...only 2-3 blocks from the train station, BAM, Theatre for a New Audience, and Barclays. We went there before catching a 7:30 curtain. Charming place decorated very nicely. It's small but that adds to the charm and coziness. We arrived early enough for a drink or two at the bar before dinner. The bartender was very nice and attended to us quickly. We then went to our table. Fresh bread and water was brought to us right away. They offered a few nice sounding specials and the menu had a good selection of dishes. We shared an appetizer, which was very good. Both of our meals were delicious!!! We then shared a dessert which was terrific. Our waiter was very nice and attentive. The food and overall service was excellent and the prices are very fair. The restaurant got crowded but it doesn't get noisy...nice to be able to talk to the person you are with without talking over others. They offer a 10% discount for those attending a show at the theater. Overall we had a great experience here. We will def be back. Great atmosphere, service, and food.

Located on a great Brooklyn village square we wandered into this charming place for a pre jazz concert meal (Brooklyn Jazz Orchestra - don't miss them!). A Sunday afternoon and it was packed with local families all enjoying the food. At our table we enjoyed pasta, risotto and meat dishes and even ordered a side of their delicious meatballs when the aroma from our neighbours table enticed us. We also shared a couple of excellent desserts. A lucky find and we'll be back to Brooklyn for the jazz and the food.
