Great food and attentive service. Sometimes too attentive. That said, best food we've had in Brighton Beach. Great Georgian dishes...

The only good thing about this place is that IF the food is available, it is well prepared. However, most items we tried to order just were not there. The waiter had no clue of what was available and what not. They found only one bottle of Russian beer (!), not the brand we asked, and all other beer was "too warm" as the waiter said. In the middle of our meal, waiters and administration had a loud altercation among themselves right next to our table. But the real surprise came in the bill: 8% "service charge." The waiter said, "All Russian restaurants around here charge it, and I don't get a penny of it." In other words, all Russian restaurants in Brighton Beach area pay protection money to Russian mob, and this should draw attention of NY Attorney office.

I been here a couple times in the past and loved it. Last time I came with a group of friends and I was humiliated! They ran out of what I ordered on the menu and I had to get something else I did not want nor like. We were overcharged on the menu and charged a gratuity fee on top of that. 99.9% of all restaurants charge a 20% gratuity for parties of 6 or more, we were 4. THEN, the waiter had the nerve to demand an extra tip! For WHAT?! What a sad shame, I will never eat here again. I'll miss it.

Primorski existed since the Russian Brighton came about. It is one of the first Russian restaurant's opened. Has a menu of great Russian,Ukrainian and international food. Live music on Friday and Saturday night. Has a bonquet menu which will run you around 60$ a person, you can also have a french menu which will run you around 15$ more a person.
