Great food. A lot people complained about the service, but when I went, it was late afternoon and scarcely any people, so the waiter was quite laid back and nice.

“Bay Ridge yummy”
Reviewed October 2, 2005

My family has been going there for over 20 years since it opened and many of the original staff are still there which makes it very friendly and reliable.

The food and drinks are excellent especially pina coladas, filet mignon, house salad dressing, chorizos and champignones (mushrooms) in garlic sauce.

The service is very formal and attentive like years gone by.

The decor is traditional Spain-ish but could possibly use a little facelift.

The clientele went from classy dressy to jeans and T-shirts, but if you focus on the food and the staff, you'll be OK (unless you like casual).

It is not cheap or too expensive but you definitely get what you pay for.

Music is Spanish and you better like the Gypsy Kings!
