This is a small, informal yet pretty restaurant, compared to all the others in Brooklyn's Chinatown. If you haven't had Malaysian food, this restaurant is worth a try because it's delcious.
Don't expect to get amazing service. The waiters barely speak English, but I must say that their food is awesome. I've been going there for years and I've never been disappointed at the food. You don't see too many Westerners eating here. It's mainly full of Asians. I've tried several dishes. They have the details written in English, which is a plus.
They have a sister restaurant with the same name in Manhattan, but I think the one in Brooklyn is better. I feel it's more authentic. I have a friend whose from Malaysian ancestors and he says the food is great. If those words come from a local, I take their word for it. It's very inexpensive, plus the portions are huge and the value is excellent!!
