Quite stuffy and too formal not relaxed enviroment .
When visiting for breakfast the staff gretting you are up their own arses
They are only working at the Marriot but think they own it
They need to remember who is paying them

Great chef and very accommodating for a vegetarian plus smiling attending waiters. Definitely will be back with different guests.

The standard of food in this restaurant was great. Ample portions & the staff were also friendly and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble for them.

We were a little nervous eating at the restaurant in our hotel. We haven't had many pleasant memories at other chain hotels but we were quite surprised at how delicious our meal was. We shared the Buffalo Wings and Short Ribs. The buffalo wings were fantastic. I actually ate the skin and that is something I rarely do! We were seriously tempted to order another plateful of wings. The short ribs is more than enough for two people to share and was great.

The bartender also makes a fantastic Cosmopolitan.

The Archives is the Restaurant attached to the Marriott at Brooklyn Bridge. We ate one breakfast there while staying at the Marriott.

It was a typical hotel buffet; better than most. You can also order off the menu.

Everybody in the party enjoyed the made-to-order omlettes. The fruit was quite fresh and varied. Otherwise, it was pretty typical.

I will say that the service was first rate. The servers were attentive, which is very unusual for a buffet.

I would have given the place a much higher score, but at $25/person, it seems pretty expensive for what you get. We dined at several other nearby restaurants (Juniors and Heights Cafe). I felt both offered much better value, even when you factor in the convenience of the hotel restaurant.
