“Quaintest hidden gem, ideal portion size, moderately priced meals!”
Reviewed September 17, 2013

I had the thrill of enjoying a Saturday morning brunch with my family of 10 people, without prior reservation. We were promptly seated and efficiently served. The ambiance was spectacular and the waiter serving us was quite welcoming. The decor reminded me of that of an old-world feel, because of the exposed brick setting, cascading water sounds and a garden of running plants.

“Great Food in Beautiful Setting”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

This cozy beautiful setting in Carrol Gardens Brooklyn was a simple delight to have a wonderful dinner after being in the beach all day. Food, service and place were very good.

“Very lovely and romantic spot!”
Reviewed June 26, 2013

You must visit for breakfast and dinner with your romantic partner. Sit in the back amid the stone and metal handiwork, lovingly created by the owner over a period of years. A peaceful, spiritual setting with good food and a great ambiance.

“Excellent Food and Decor, need I say more?”
Reviewed February 1, 2013

I absolutely love this cafe/restaurant. The breakfast and lunch here is excellent. I've never been here for dinner but the menu looks great. This place is beautiful and quaint. The front of the cafe looks like a small pastry shop but once you walk to the back you walk into a beautifully decorated oasis. It is so easy to fall in love with this restaurant and want to go back again. They have great pastries, steak and eggs, eggs benedict, coffee and just so much more. Its romantic and also family friendly. The only downside is you need patience because sometimes they staff can be a bit slow so if you're in a rush, this not the place. However if you've got time, check this place out.

“Good for a bite”
Reviewed January 29, 2013

Nice for a quick bite, the garden is like a sauna in the warm months. The atomosphere in the garden a little too contrived the front room is a nice cafe feel. Food was adequate, service okay, it is a neighborhood place if you need a quick stop. The coffee was decent. Just not comfortable to sit for a long time and the slow service keeps you sitting.

Had a burger that was cooked well on my last stop in, the salad was tasty and fresh too.
Worth a meal here and there but do not expect amazing French food.
