“Exquisite Food; wonderful environment”
Reviewed June 20, 2014

the patio felt like you were in the country--rather than the middle of Brooklyn
the food was interesting--very creative and well executed
the service was a bit slow for a Monday night....but everything was correct
really enjoyed the ambiance.

“Wonderful brunch! ”
Reviewed June 8, 2014 via mobile

We had a family brunch in this neighborhood gem. We loved it! The garden tables are lovely in this little spot and food is delicious. Each dish was excellent and the fresh squeezed oj in mimosa was grand.

“Great Italian food for the foodie!”
Reviewed April 3, 2014

Five of us ate dinner mid-week & savored every morsel from our own & each other's selections! The waiter made many helpful suggestions & catered to our every whim. ( I loved that he also spoke Italian well.) Here's what we ate: proscuitto & burrata cheese, mixed salad, little gnocchi with mushrooms & asparagus (so delicate, so good!), pappardelle pasta with lamb sauce, spaghetti with seafood (special, among frutti di mare pasta dishes…the best I've ever had), chocolate & amaretto pudding with gelato & pistachio praline, gelato rolled in chopped chocolate & hazelnuts drowned in espresso (the best I've ever had!), and espresso with anise liqueur (omg). I'm going back the next time in Brooklyn!!!

“Aurora Best Italian Fare in Williamsburg”
Reviewed March 8, 2014

The Lunch Prix Fixe can't be beat! You get to choose an appetizer, entree, dessert AND glass of wine for $20!!. I always have the Paccheri alla Norma. It's divine. I have been tempted by the passing dishes of Bistecca (grilled skirt steak with roasted red onions and potatoes) but the Norma with roasted eggplant, tomato, mozzarella and pesto pulls me back every time. Don't skip dessert--delicious Pannacotta with amarena cherries and vincotto or affogato--mascarpone ice cream with hazelnut and cocoa powder drowned in espresso! I call this the 2-for-1 dessert since there's no need to order coffee. In Italy eating between 12 and 3pm is called Il Pranzo--actually the big meal of the day. No need for dinner after this lunch. Once Spring arrives sitting in the outside garden is an added pleasure.

“Delicious Italian dinner”
Reviewed December 10, 2013

We got there at 7pm with no reservation and they sat us giving us an 8:30 pm exit. It was all we needed. The food was delicious. We shared an artichoke appetizer which was outstanding. I had the squash ravioli as my entre, another had the veal chop and raved and the third had the sea scallops also good. We shared a dessert that had a wonderful burst of coffee flavor over ice cream. We also shared a bottle of pricie wine also delicious.
