Description: Welcome to Juliana's, a New York-style pizzeria. Juliana's heralds the return of Patsy Grimaldi-not only to the NYC restaurant scene, but to the original location under the Brooklyn Bridge where he co-founded Grimaldi's Pizzeria with his late wife, Carol. Unbeknownst to many, Pat & Carol severed their affiliation with Grimaldi's in 1999 when they sold the business (along with the name). Even though they were no longer involved in the restaurant, they never lost their passion for serving truly great pizza. And so, with a desire to re-live a "dream come true", they have partnered with close friend and former guest Matthew Grogan to establish Juliana's, a neighborhood pizzeria, preparing and serving pies the way Patsy has for generations. Named in honor of Pat's mother, Maria 'Juliana' Lancieri, Juliana's occupies 19 Old Fulton Street, in the Fulton Ferry Historic District, in the building that was once home to Grimaldi's.

“Great Pizza Without the Hour Wait”
Reviewed November 2, 2013

Juliana's Pizza is an intimate little pizza place located under the Brooklyn Bridge. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is great, and we were able to get a table with only a very short wait, a huge plus compared to the hour or more lines for the tourist favorite Grimaldi's which is right next door. We found out about Juliana's by a local tour guide that told us is actually owned by the original owners of Grimaldi's and was opened right next door to the famous restaurant after they sold that franchise. Definitely give this place a try. Fantastic NY pizza, but more local than other tourist spots.

“Hand's Down Best Pizza in NYC”
Reviewed October 31, 2013

Forget about Lombardi's, Forget about Grimaldi's. Juliana's is the best pizza in NYC. In fact, Juliana's is from the original owner of Grimaldi's! Named after his mother. The new owners of Grimaldi's moved the restaurant to the building next door. They still advertise coal brick oven pizza, BUT the city of New York no longer allows coal oven in the city unless it existed there before the law was instituted. So that means the new Grimaldi's does not bake their pizzas in a coal oven. However, Juliana's is in the original building with the original oven!

“Decent pizza terrible service”
Reviewed October 30, 2013 via mobile

The service was terrible there were 4 of us we each ordered and our food was not brought all at the same time then after bringing out only 1pizza we watched as they gave our other pizza to another table. The pizza was small for the price and it was good but not the best I have had .
