Excellent vibe - cozy, warm atmosphere with nice interior design
Relatively limited variety but everything tasty and nicely presented
Pulpo y rusa, empanadas and the chevice were great - tacos slightly disappointing
Highly recommended

I had a steak sandwich completo. It was an average sandwich. The meat was not tender enough. And I Had to rip the meat before I could bite into the sandwich.

The salad that cane with the meat was really good though.

The service was a little bit slow but it was rush hour when i went.

is was almost 2pm and we were very hungry after a 20 mile bike ride.
We checked a few places along Driggs Ave, when we picked into El Almacen we knew this was the place. Decor is nice not really a pub not a dive bar not too hip just right.
We got the Brunch menu and we liked it eggs with steak in an Argentinian theme.
We ordered four dishes the Lincho Micho,Hanger steak with eggs, The Chaparan and Mirinada Carna O Pollo. The names are butched because I could not find the Brunch Menu on line to get the spelling right.
The first three were a great success. No doubt that this place knows how to makes steaks perfect. we ordered Medium and got it right. The Chaparan was not as great as the first two yet very good. The side salads are very good. Not dull and after thought as they are in so many other places. The Carna O Pollo was not that great. I took the Carna which was basically an OK piece of breaded beef with mush potatoes (A beef cutlet - in short) skip that one.
The kids 13 yo ate there dishes and asked for more. All they cleared were empty plates and lemon shell. Service was pleasant.
with one drink and 18% tip we paid $85

Five of us had dinner and a couple of bottles of red wine. We started with the avocado fries which were a must. I had one of the ribs options on the menu, the meat fell of the bone as soon as I tried to pick it up, they were delicious. A couple of others had the steak which was equally as tasty. All really good quality meat and the sides compliment it well. Great atmosphere, the only downer was the waitress who was a bit rude. Definitely worth a visit!
