Checker’s is one of those sub-McDonald’s fast food chains. They keep company with the likes of Arbies, Roy Rogers and White Castle.
I had a “Big Buford burger” meal ($6.99) and a chili dog ($2.39) for lunch here last week. The meal included fries and a soda.
The burger was edible but nothing special. The chili dog was better than the burger. And what was special was what is usually special at this chain: the seasoned fries. Checker’s seasoned fries are great!
The interior was clean but simple, low-end fast food style. They had five tables on one side and a counter with chairs against the opposite wall.
