Small but very nice place! Probably the best pizza I've ever had! You might want to have a plan B in case there's no spare tables, since a lot of people had to wait or leave for the lack of tables. Don't get me wrong being small is the charm of this place and adds to it!

This place was very busy with people being turned away at the door. You can't book but you can put your name on a list. Tables for 2 were much easier to come by. Larger groups were being advised to come back later.
This is a BYOB restaurant although they also have a drinks menu. If you take your own wine, they charge a very steep $15 per bottle.
Can recommend the Saffron risotto from the menu and the Black fettuccine from the Specials board. Both delicious.

I'm a really big fan of this place. They have all the classic Italian dishes as well as top notch brick oven pizza. The owner is a really nice guy who is always there and the staff are super friendly.

We ordered the Portobello mushrooms for starters (we shared this portions between two) and we shared the pepperoni pizza.

We were let down slightly by the taste and quality after reading all the great reviews here.

I have had better pizza elsewhere in NYC.

Not sure I would rate it as Number One but did have a pleasant dining experience here. The four of us shared two pizzas and two salads which were all tasty. The thin crust pizza was especially good. We also shared a reasonably priced bottle of wine. Would recommend the place.
