I've been visiting Fabbrica since day 1. I also have my Mocha and croissants every morning here on my way to work and the usual Pizza on sundays. But today, after two months coming a couple of days a week, I can say I've finally tried EVERY single item in the menu, including specials. As far as I know, very few places are so consistent with everything. Here's some tips. My personal favorite, the bibb lettuce salad, simply great. Any pasta will be great, but the lasagna... just spectacular! Now if you want to end the night regretting having to leave, ask for the tiramisu, the original, no the new version, which is also good. This tiramisu will make you want to take your shirt off and start slapping everyone! Yes, is that good! I just did, and then ran home to write something about it.

I've been there a couple of Sundays ago, and they were serving pizza. I had a margherita, and for the first time in the US I finally had one with a couple of fresh basil leaves on the top of it. The quality of it was very good (two minor comments are that the tomato sauce was a little bit too liquid, and not very cheap, $16+taxes), it is definitely the best one I ate in the US. The service was very nice and quick (I was listening to the staff, and they were really chatting in Italian, which is not always the case in other Italian-like places), and the décor of the restaurant sounds really interesting ('fabbrica' in Italian means 'factory', and it reminds the interiors of an old-fashioned factory). Finally, nice music, so it is a very interesting spot in a non super-touristic area!
