This store caters first and foremost for Russian-speaking clients of Soviet and post-Soviet extraction. The wares are mostly Russian-produced books, DVDs and CDs, with a smattering of other knick-knacks (mugs, Christmas tree decorations, calendars, etc.). A fraction of DVDs are NTSC formatted to be playable on regular US players, and English-subtitled. A nice place to pick up Russian souvenirs without help and the nuisance of the Aeroflot. We visit this store regularly to get some Bortnyansky, Shalyapin, or subtitled (in bad English) the best classic Sherlock Holmes ever (the best thing the USSR produced after Sputnik). Coffee mugs with visages of Marx-Lenin-Stalin and Burunduk-(=chipmunk) branded slippers make for nice albeit sometimes confusing gifts. Christmas tree ornaments are quite good and of variety that you don't find in Christmas Mouse.
