When they named themselves Best Pizza, they were not kidding. The best pizza in Brooklyn hands down.

“Not Just Pizza”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 28, 2013

So, exploring the Williamsburg area of Brooklyn, I came upon Best Pizza on Havemeyer - short walk down 7th North, from the L.
Now, I'm NOT a big fan of pizza, since "the best pizza" tends to be subjective and the reviews of the place talked about the meatball hero.
Menu is simple, straight forward: pizza, meatball hero and chicken parm. I ordered the meatball hero.
Here's the thing the meatballs are made to order! They haven't been sitting around in sauce all day. They quickly brown them and sauce them and pop them in the oven. The bread is nicely toasted and the two meatballs - decent size - are topped with mozzarella and parmesan.
The sandwich is not at all overstuffed or messy but the flavour? Awesome. Great marinara.
The place is small but has its own vibe. Decor is simple - paper plates with drawings and visitors thoughts, plaster the walls and ceiling.
Very friendly staff and they bring the food out to you - granted it wasn't too busy.

“Truly is the best pizza!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 4, 2013 via mobile

I love, love, love this pizza. I eat it as often as I can. Pair it with a bottled coke to really enjoy. The slice called Grandmas Pizza is really outstanding. It's a square piece with perfect crust. This place is a true ny pizza experience in hip williamsburg section of brooklyn.

“Should be named Pricey Pizza”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 19, 2013

Walked into the "Best Pizza" and ordered 3 regular slices and two cans of coke...$13.25. You've got to be kidding me. Although the price of cheese and flour have increased, $3.25 for 1 slice of pizza is ridiculous. I've tasted this pizza before, not the best, not the worst. I was so frustrated with the price and walked out!
