Ordered takeout today. The place was quite empty. The manager was very helpful and though I seemed skeptical about the falafel and hummus as an appetizer, I'm glad I didn't order the lunch because the appetizer is a lot. practically loaded with humus and salad. The bowl has hummus and salad with five falafel. I ordered fries and it was so much. I am two going to eat a second meal, it was so filling.
The falafel was pretty authentic, given I'm born and raised in Kuwait.
There was a chilli sauce and a mint yogurt as well. It was refreshing and good. I spent 12 bucks and worth every penny.

Good Turkish food in Park Slope. "Large" portions were very large. Get small portions or enjoy leftovers the next day. They said delivery would take an hour so we went to pick it up and the food came out of the kitchen 20 minutes after we hung up the phone (as promised) we got there before that and they offered us free cups of hot tea while we waited. Nice Turkish hospitality. Food came with a big bag of Turkish Bread (inch thick discs not pita.) also a yogurt sauce and a "hot" sauce Everything was well cooked and tasty salads were included but were nothing great. the meats were well seasoned and balanced flavor. Rice came with a few chickpeas mixed in. Sultan's delight, a dish of eggplant puree with cheese topped with pieces of lamb in a tomato sauce was outstanding. Manti (Turkish dumplings) were good...not something I had before. The mixed cold appetizer plate was had a great variety of excellent mezes. Considering the quantity and quality of the food, the prices are reasonable. Definitely worth going back to.

I always come here for their grilled Bronzino fish, hummus and sauced eggplant salad. Their food is always very fresh and flavorful! The Turkish coffee is good. They also have a selection of wine and beers. Their prices are reasonable. Try the food here. You won't be disappointed!

This eatery is your answer if you are craving for the middle eastern food . The access is easy , the service is good and the food served here satisfying . The prices are affordable . The decor takes you back to the historical name holding the era . Food is fresh and wholesome . Veg / non veg are available . Must try place .

Where we live Turkish restaurants are scarce, so we're always thrilled to come across one. This little place in Park Slope is one of the best we've tried here in the US, and among the most authentic -- it even has guys handing out menus on the sidewalk outside, trying to entice people in. But we didn't need any convincing -- reading the menu was enough to attract us. The decor is nothing special and they obviously do a big takeout business (they're open incredibly long hours -- until 1 am), but we liked sitting there and interacting with the staff. Plus watching other diners enjoy their meals is often a good way to decide what to try first -- worked well for us this time! The mixed appetizer plate being delivered nearby called to us, and it turned out to be absolutely delicious -- some of the dishes' names may sound familiar, but you'll probably find that the recipes are far from standard. We kept asking for more of the wonderful bread and kept shooing away the nice waiter until we'd enjoyed every last bite. The rest of our meal was just as good -- a delicious lamb kebab and manti, a type of meat-filled dumpling we'd enjoyed often in Turkey but rarely can find. This is a terrific place to educate yourself about Turkish cuisine (which many Turks rank among the world's greatest, right up there with French and Chinese). The more you try it the more I think you will agree.
