Description: David's Brisket House specializes in pastrami, brisket, and corn beef. We are a cultural melting pot offering traditionally Jewish deli sandwiches. We offer lunch specials for our small, medium, and large sandwiches. We also offer take-out, delivery, and we cater! Open for breakfast and through dinner, there's always time for a delicious deli sandwich from David's Brisket House.

Pastrami on rye with mustard - just do it. I can't vouch for any of the other sandwiches - but the pastrami is fantastic. They offer 3 different sizes, so I would go with the small unless you're not planning on eating anything else all day. They offer a full selection of Dr. Brown's soda - cream soda is my favorite pairing. David's is a block from the A/C at Nostrand and also a block from the LIRR stop at Nostrand well worth a trip to Brooklyn. In fact it's also on the same subway line as Mile End in Boerum Hill (so you could make it a double pastrami day). As for the ambiance - there are a few tables, not a place that I would linger, but fine for a lunch.

While the service (and attitude) was ordinary , thankfully the food turned out fine. What appeared to be a nice home style diner in fact was a place were you waited as friends and others were served or worse got served after your order ! I find it to be very rude where staff and newcomers (i.e. walked in after me) talk in their own lingo and appear to forget the paying customer and then slowly remember the reason they are in business, to serve !!

Friendly service, delicious brisket cheap price. What more could you ask for. Would highly recommend and if I lived nearby, would be in there more often than not.

Went to David's on a recent trip to New York, looking desperately for an amazing Pastrami sandwich. It's one of my new favorites! The place is not much to look at... very simple and small, but the food is terrific. The pastramis was delicious, portion sizes just right, and the price was fair. I'm a big eater and I ordered a medium pastrami on rye with swiss, and it was enough to satisfy my pastrami craving... Although later in the afternoon I wished I had ordered the large and taken a bit for later! Will make it a point to go visit on every trip to NYC!
