“Yuck!”

OVERPRICED is the name of this game! I understand this is NYC, I lived here for 20 years, but this is ridiculous! I will start with the bad (there was SOME good)...non smoking room reeked of smoke, cigarette burns and scratchiti on all of the furniture that was mismatched and looked like it came from the Salvation Army thrift store. Along with the TV that barely worked and we only got like 10 channels. Bed spread and blanket were threadbare with holes/more cigarette burns. Carpet was stained and dirty, bathroom smelled like mold and had obviously been regrouted a million times to cover mold. Breakfast was, well, complimentary and minimal. Parking lot was a joke! basically they took the "front yard" and paved it over to form 8 cramped spaces. The morning we left, we were late getting to the airport because they had let extra cars block the aisle overnight and we had to wait for them to wake the guests up to move the vehicles! Oh and while we were waiting (at 6am), I observed several "couples" approach the front desk looking for a room until check out at 11am....things that make you go hmmmm. Oh the good part was....uh....the subway is really close and it is an express train to the city. And the workers that I encountered were really nice, too bad their product doesn't reflect their personalities.

My friend and I booked this hotel last minute for the Fashion Week festivities in Manhattan. We got an amazing deal compared to the outrageous prices in the city. They were beyond accomadating and hospitable. They allowed us to check in early after a long journey to the hotel. Our room was small, but well equipped with everything we needed. The subway was only a few blocks away, so it allowed easy transport into the city. The neighborhood seemed a lil sketchy at first, but after the first night I began to love the quirky area we were in. Great food nearby as well. I loved my stay at this hotel and will definitley return! I highly recommend for the traveler on a budget.

We had a 4 night stay here while visiting family in the area. Our room was clean, safe, and the neighborhood felt safe for walking from the subway a block or so from the hotel. We were a bit nervous about parking our car in the tiny lot across the street from the hotel, but it was well lit, and there was a security person who paid close attention to the comings & goings of guests. The lot was locked after a certain time in the evening and someone from the hotel accompanied you to open the gate and secure it after you parked your car. We didn't have the breakfast, but we didn't expect to have a 5 star breakfast in this hotel anyway. The price was definitely the deal-breaker for us - $137/night in Brooklyn. Would definitely stay here again if the situation warrants it.

this hotel was chosen because of its proximity to a bar my boyfriend and i were going to that night. the check in was easy and although it was a nonissue, raised some concern when they thought i had booked 2 rooms instead of 1. the room was very dark and incredibly small leaving hardly any room to pass between the bed and the tv. the bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. many of the channels on the TV were not clear. the bathroom had a musty smell but did not permeate the rest of the room, surprisingly. from what my boyfriend tells me, the breakfast was short in supply. when he got there at around 8:30am there we only a few hard boiled eggs, cookies, and cinnamon buns left.
all in all, i would stay there again because it was better than the last hotel i stayed at in Brooklyn, it was clean , and had a main street close by with stores and restaurants.

After a terrible experience at a apartment in Harlem this hotel was a blessing in the skies.
Good service, good internet, good tv( a few channels were not good) and the neighbourhood was good. No complaints only the breakfast was a little small.

closed to subway, free wifi, decent room and clean at reasonable rate.
free parking spot, there's only 10 spots, but if u get in when people check out, and park all day, we take subway to manhattan anyway, reasonable rate for summer time in nyc around $130 / night per room and $197 for room with 2 queen and 1 twin. There's gas station 7 eleven and plenty of food nearby, and only a 10 blocks away from Brooklyn Chinatown.

Room Tip: ask for top floor which is 6th floor nice and quite from traffice and clean

I will start with the hotel itself. First thing first the pictures don't look anything at all like the rooms that are being adevertised. The room was very tiny, tight and dark. It carried the scent of mold and old wood. The tv was broken and the tub was clogged. The towels which were once white I assume, had stains and looked down right horrible. The quality of the towel overrall was horrible. The material felt like sand paper againt the skin. The only thing nice about the room was the bed. It was very comfortable and I would have had a good nights sleep had I been able to breath in that dungeon. The cleaning women started working at 7 am, slamming doors and making a ton of noise yelling at each other in the hallways. I should have known I was going to be in trouble just walking to the hotel from the subway. The area was a little bit sketchy. The only thing it had to offer was fastfood. Had to walk 40 blocks to downtown brooklyn before finding a decent place to eat. I would not advise anyone to book this hotel.

Room Tip: Do not stay at this hotel at all.
