Intimate atmosphere, great for this new ballet featuring 5 musicians and 5 dancers (5 sets of paired artists).
Full house, which was probably about 300 in BAM Fisher.
Everyone in the audience was close to the performance, acoustics were great. Easy access by the subway (about 1 long block away).

I have seen the greatest of the greats there and got my earliest cultural enrichment there. Despite a slight case of claustrophobia from selecting affordable seating in the highest, back rows - I remember each visit as a milestone of education and artistic appreciation.

Wow......what a great show at the Bam Café on Friday night. I saw the Earthman Experience and a few other great acts at this free venue on Memorial Day Friday and it was wonderful. The food and drinks were reasonably priced and good. Did not like that I had to stand on line at the bar for the food especially since it was served on real dinnerware. Where was the wait staff???

I've seen numerous shows here- dance, theater, concerts, etc. Such a great venue. Perfect size, not too overwhelming. Also in a great location. I've also been to their movie theater in the same building. It has great prices. Occasionally other events such as beer and wine festivals- always a great spot for this.

BAM is known for its series' of modern, multi-cultural, and experimental works. Many pieces from important living composers make either their world or US debut at BAM. Check out the schedule and buy a ticket to something out there. It is a beautiful hall. Stay away from the 1st row in the balcony if you have legs.
