Went hear on a Saturday afternoon to take the guided tour in the brewery and to try some of the more exclusive sorts that are hard to find. The tour was great, lots of people there so we had to stand in line for a while. Since it was Saturday afternoon the bar area was packed with people, many of them in big companies, so it was a bit of a challenge to find a place to sit down but not impossible. You buy beer tokens in the entrance and if you get hungry there's a mobile pizza van outside and you can bring in the pizza. Very nice atmosphere, friendly staff and a curious cat! Walking from the subway gives you a nice feeling of Brooklyn life too.

Get to Brooklyn Brewery early if you want a seat or don't want to stand in line. While the beer is great and the vibe is cool, it is crowded if you get there mid-afternoon. Just get there early, stake out a table and bring a card game or something to hang out and pass the time with a group of friends. Otherwise, it is a bit on the loud side and you'll wait in a long lne for a beer. It does move quickly, but who wants to wait in line?

Kind of nice- you can grab a pizza from the food truck outside and bring it in to eat whle you enjoy the beer.

My wife and I went to the brewery for a tour and tasting. Had a great afternoon. Easy to get to from Manhattan and a cool little neighborhood. We bought t-shirts and when I got home realized they had given me the incorrect shirt size. I emailed the company and received a reply with the hour. Dealt with a gentleman named Glenn. Was super helpful. He emailed me a shipping label so I could return the wrong shirt for a new one. Received the new shirt in 2 days. I was so surprised by how helpful he was. The service was top notch. I highly recommend a visit to the brewery. The people are fantastic and the beer is amazing

We visited on a Sunday afternoon. Took the subway from Times Square to Brooklyn. It was an easy trip (only 1 transfer). We followed the directions on the brewery's website and had no trouble at all. Arrived shortly after they opened at 12. There was no wait to get in. Had no problem finding a seat at one of the picnic tables in the beer hall. Beer tokens (12 oz. beer) are $5 each or 5 for $20. Some craft brewery beers can be disappointing. This was not the case here. We found the beers to be high quality...crisp and flavorful. The bartenders were very helpful in describing and recommending the beers on tap. There wasn't much to the free tour, so if you're looking for an in-depth explanation of how beer is made, this probably isn't for you. But if you'd just like a quick visit to the brewing area and a brief history of the company and their beers, then this is perfect. We thought it was great. It added a little education to our beer-drinking experience without being boring. There was food available for purchase from some local food vendors. There are also plenty of dining options in the neighborhood.
