Ive been to a few parties in ehre. Not bad. Not exactly a tourist attraction, as BK beer is mediocre by comparison, but its worth a visit once I suppose.

Great, cheap beer. You can bring food or order delivery to the brewery. Once you find a seat, DO NOT GET UP. Sometimes (on the weekends, I guess) they have food vendors.

Queues:
First queue is to enter the brewery - I came to the "3PM tour" at 2:55 and waited 20min. to enter. A good thing about it was the pizza vehicle by the entrance, which make really good profit there.
Second queue was to the bar. I've waited more than 40min to taste/buy their beer. They should seriously consider enlarging the bar or make some organization because it just takes to long. Everyone coming to the bar first tastes almost all of the favors, there we like 8 of them. And only then people order the beer. I would suggest to make the tasting in a separate queue or in the middle of the big queue... they can sure think of a creative solution.

The Beer:
Well I didn't enjoy it at all. It's fresh and just brewed, but tastes almost same as bottled Sam Adams. And there is no comparison to the european beers (not even talking about breweries in europe), which of course much better. But I guess this goes for most american beers.

Bottom line:
It's free to visit, free to try the favors, 5$ to drink a pint. 10-15min walk from subway station. And if you want to spend 2+ hours hearing about the preparation process and marketing, tasting average beer - might worth a visit...

Getting to the brewery is very easy. It is the first subway stop after leaving manhattan. The beers are great, the workers are enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the beer and the history of Brooklyn Brewery. Make sure you reserve the time beforehand during the week. They only allow 30 or so people by reservations.

We went to Brooklyn Brewery last Saturday, having tried the beer locally in NY. Nice welcome at the door however, when we got inside, the queue was very long and it seemed that there was only one person serving at the bar. Walked out due to this.
