“Nice village type place with nice Brownstones & Limestone Buildings”
Reviewed October 27, 2012

Seventh Avenue from President Street to St Johns Place is a nice place to visit with many shops and restaurants. From seventh ave to eight ave there are well kept older Brownstown residential buildings. Along Prospect Park West are well kept nice apartment buildings facing Prospect Park. I recommend packing a lunch and going to Grand Army Plaza and sittting on a bench watching the fountain. Also on Saturdays there are many food trucks parked right by Grand Army Plaza by the entrance of Prospect Park. Ajacent to the park is the Brooklyn Public Library and a short 10 min walk is the Brooklyn Museum and Brooklyn Botanical Gardens.

“The chicest place to be in Brooklyn !”
Reviewed October 21, 2012

My son just moved from Park Slope and lived there about 2 years. I enjoyed visiting on many Sundays and having lunch with him. His leafy street was close to many good restaurants and close to Prospect Park and another smaller park. There are too many snotty Moms with strollers but other than that its a fun area to visit. Real estate is extremely expensive in this part of Brooklyn but it has its charms. One of the fun things about Brooklyn is people have 'stoop sales' and often people put goods out for FREE.

“Shops with local owners, designers, small village atmosphere”
Reviewed October 15, 2012

Love the shops like a. Cheng and Diane Kane. And lots of vintage clothes. Friendly designers, shop owners, and sommeliers who honestly appreciate wine. And stunning Prospect Park is right there

“a really nice neighborhood in Brooklyn”
Reviewed September 25, 2012

Park Slope is a delightful Brooklyn neighborhood full of young families and a variety of nice places to live. There are lots of good restaurants and nice bars, plenty of small shops, and a farmers market on Sundays. We had a superb foot massage just beyond the corner of 7th St & 4th Ave., and several excellent meals.
