It is a small storefront on a busy street, but make your way here if you have a hankering for a lobster roll and traveling to Maine is not on your schedule. We were taking advantage of the beautiful weather and decided that a stroll along the Brooklyn waterfront, with a lobster roll in hand, was the perfect week-end treat. There was a line, but it moved quickly and in no time, we were sitting in the sun, enjoying our rolls and chips. The bun is toasted with butter, the lobster chunks meaty and the seasoning mild. We also shared the lobster mac 'n cheese and, while it is truly a killer mac recipe, there were only a few large chunks lobster in it; I would have enjoyed it more if the two main ingredients were integrated a little better. A meal from here is definitely in the 'treat' category, but when something has the ingredient 'lobster' in it, you are always going to pay a little more.

My daughter and I went there last night. The food was worth the travel from Long Island!! The staff was super cool! Will go again with friends and family. Down to earth place, with great food! :) They are open all year round.

Very good lobster and shrimp rolls. But on the small side. Considering the location, probably quite good and reasonable. Just a bit pricey for what you get.

The lobster roll is tasty.
That being said, it's teeny tiny and definitely NOT worth the price.

That being said, if you don't want to schlep yourself out to Eastern Long Island for the real deal (and actually be FULL after eating your roll) then this will have to suffice.

Red Hook Lobster Pound has great lobster rolls. I can't say they are the best in NY because I have not completed the research. So far, though, they lead the rankings.
I pan to return to try the BLT .....Or perhaps the whole lobster. There is also a food truck somewhere in NY
