“Overpriced and outdated decor”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 7, 2012

Maybe I am being too harsh on this place, however for the price you pay, it's overpriced. Even though the food was very good, the decor is outdated. Sorry.

“Romantic and perfectly cooked with a tasty touch of France”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 7, 2011

We found this little (or petit should I say!) restaurant when we arrived in Brooklyn earlier this month.

We were NOT disappointed, it was an absolutely amazing meal and a great night out. We had the set menu - 3 courses for 35 dollars. Everything was cooked to perfection, you could tell the chef here is very passionate about food. Tasty duck, excellent desserts and really good american wine.

Place is great for a romantic dinner for two or a intimate dinner for a group of friends.

“Excellent Food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 24, 2010

This is a small restaurant that we've eaten at twice, the last time a few days ago. It can be hard to get a reservation but since we were only 2, we got one with fifteen minutes notice.

The food is very well prepared. I had squash gnocchi, pork shoulder on top of mashed potatoes and bread pudding, and loved all three. My wife had a salad with squash in it, roasted chicken and an apple pie, and she too thought all were excellent. And we gotr a nice bottle of French wine for "only" $27, which is a cheap price in NY. And our meal was a $35 tasting menu, so a good deal all around.

Because it is small and they have a small staff, the service isn't quick, but every one is very friendly, the bread and butter is excellent, and so as long as you're not in a rush, this is a very good place to have a cozy dinner in Bay Ridge, and definitely worth coming to from outside Bay Ridge as well.
