The price was excellent. The location was good. We had business in Manhattan, but all the Manhattan hotels I looked at were prohibitively expensive. La Quinta Brooklyn, on the other hand, was close to the 4th Avenue subway station, whose R line brought us right to City Hall and Pace University. The Inn was also close to the Park Slope neighborhood, which was fun to explore.
The Inn also provides a free breakfast, which includes waffles.
The rooms were small -- mine especially, when shared with three people. The hotel did make a mistake in giving us a room with one king-size bed only, when we'd made an online reservation for two double beds and a cot, but they did their best to correct their mistake and gave us the cheaper rate for a room with a king-size bed. We were fine with it.
Overall, very good value. I could see staying there again when I visit friends in Brooklyn.More
