If you want to taste what home cooking is like in Bogota.. go here!
We had to walk three miles to get to this restaurant and it was worth every step!
My son and I both ordered the Bandeja Paisa.
It contains: Fried Pork, red or black beans and rice, a skirt steak, an arepa, cole slaw salad, fried sweet banana, avocado slice and it's all topped off with a fried egg.
This is Colombian cooking at its best.
I started it out with a shot of aguardiente(like a lite rum).. delicious and my son had a refajo.. which is half beer and half Colombian soda.. also very nice.
Everything was delicious.. we couldn't finish all.
We had a couple of espressos afterwards to finish off the meals.
Total tab: $86... great deal for some great food in Brooklyn... sure you might be able to spend a little less somewhere else, but it's not worth it.
Got to this place..the service and food are both excellent !
