We saw this restaurant on an episode of Bizarre foods where Andrew Zimmern had the famous spleen sandwich. We came all the way from eastern queens to eat here and were not disappointed!
Authentic old school atmosphere and genuinely friendly wait staff and owner! We ordered the rice ball special, the stuffed artichoke, and spleen sandwich for lunch. First time for spleen and the ricotta cheese was perfect on it. Rice ball was perfect in every way, artichoke was garlicky but amazing. We ended with a homemade cannoli which was literally the best I ever had. Plenty of filling which was sooooo good. We will definitely be back for dinner and to try some of the other great looking pastas and dishes! Also prices were very reasonable which also makes the dining more enjoyable :)

We came to Ferdinando's on a Friday night as a group of 12 for dinner and drinks.Charming historical setting, looks as if it's lifted right out of Boardwalk Empire. No TV's or overhead music, it was great to be able to just hear each other talk. Server had no issue making 3 different checks for groups of 4 so as to make payment easier later on. Wine per bottle was very reasonably priced and the food was simple and delicious. If you're looking for an old-school relaxing night out with friends, Ferdinando's is your place.

The atmosphere is a small neighborhood restaurant that's been there 112 years. Almost reminds me of the restaurant in the Godfather. The servers are a little rough around the edges. However, the tomato sauce is excellent. Best Rice Balls (Arancini), and the seafood was very fresh.

Step back a decade or too. Neighborhood family owned, fun pictures on successful media over the years. Had delish panelles, potato croquettes, linguini with white clams, sausage & broccoli rabe. Service was excellent. Ambiance outdated but okay. Wine was room temp, which was actually warm. Steamy week for NYC weather. Decided to go elsewhere for dessert. But planning to return for the other highly recommended dishes.
