There is no reason to visit Flatbush Av - it is simply the street you take to get someplace else. Don't know why it is even here to rate.

Flatbush Ave. is supposed to be some sort of highlight? Junior's is fine and dandy for cheesecake, but there's no place to park over there.

Great up in Flatbush. Great stores, wide variety of places to eat. True Brooklyn "flare" about the area.

We took a walk along Flatbush Avenue, going from Park Slope to BAM. Upon entering Flatbush Avenue from Fifth Avenue we were struck by a major construction project, although there was no sign to identify it, but it seemed unusual in having a curved shape. Further along there was a major urban shopping mall and then the Atlantic Center. Later I looked up on the Web re. what was going on, and found out that the curved structure is the future home of an NBA team. There's an ambitious 5 year development plan to revive the area, which still has some rough spots, and is not pedestrian friendly.
