We had a lunch at Petite Crevette that was superb. we were the only ones in this tiny restaurant and had the full attention of the owner, a gregarious and delightful man, clearly well-schooled and highly talented in seafood preparation. We had fresh mozzarilla and heirloom tomatoes for an appetizer- flavorful and perfectly balanced; fried oysters that were fresh, tasty and crispy, and a simple paillard of salmon, perfectly cooked in a way that let the fresh flavorful taste of the salmon really shine. French fries and salad were great too. If this lunch is any indication, we can't wait to return for dinner. This is simple seafood, shining in its own quality and at its best.

Excellent food; fast, efficient and friendly service; very cozy setting reminiscent of small European family restaurants; extremely funny life size sculpture of Venus. We had every kind of whole fish they offer and everything was just great; and don’t forget the fried oysters!

My husband and I have been going to this restaurant for years. It started in a busy area of Brooklyn, but then moved to an out of the way place by the BQE a few years back.
The food is simple, delicious seafood in a cozy eclectic restaurant. I always start with the Salmon Tartare, and Ben gets the Tuna Tartare. It is hard to decide on the main dish with choices including whole fish, salmon provencal, tuna burger, and scallops.
It is a BYOB with a small corkage fee. Also, it is cash only, but there is a ATM right outside. I have been told that people find it pricey (we bring about $75 for the two of us), but for fresh fish cooked to perfection, it is worth it.
This is not an elegant location. If you don't like quirky and small tables, then I would choose another place.
