Toby's pizza is personally made--No slices. The pies have interesting ingredients. You can have the delicious saussage pie or experiment with more off-beat choices. Pies are appropriate for 2 people especially if you order one of the huge salads and want to leave room for the fabulous gelato. Good selection of tap bears. This small restaurant is appropriate for families with children.

We went here going on the other tripadvisor reviews of this pub, and certainly weren't disappointed. It's a cute little place - only half a dozen tables or so - we came around 9pm and there was only one table free.

You can see the pizzas being made. The prosciutto+arugula one was truly excellent, great base, plenty of toppings, really good quality cooked ham.

Good beer selection, including even a German-style wheat beer and a cider option.

Very friendly service.

Music was just a tad loud, but at least it was fun (bluegrass type music).

Great pizza and salads, nice beer selection, perfect pub atmosphere. Not much that isn't great about this place. Could be a tad cheaper, but the quality is great, so its worth it. Can't really recommend anything specific...its all great!

While Fifth Avenue in Brooklyn garners most of the attention for restaurants in this venerable borough, you will not be disappointed by heading up one block to Sixth Avenue. At 686 6th Avenue, you'll find this cozy pub featuring a small but deliciously productive wood-fired brick oven. The pizzas are all individual-sized, but don't be fooled by the smallish appearance of these pies. Bruschetta came as a pizza - as opposed to a re-fashioned grinder roll - and was loaded with the traditional chopped tomato dressing. The skillet of roasted cauliflower smothered with cheese, dusted with bread crumbs, and garnished with capers, was an appetizer large enough for four people to enjoy (we doled some out to our curious fellow diners at the adjoining table). After this generous intro, the main course was right on track - the arugula-and-prosciutto pie was loaded with both of these prime ingredients and was worth the price just for the meat alone, which covered nearly the entire pizza. The fresh mozzarella and grape tomato pizza was equally as good, and in the case of both pies, the crust was cooked perfectly. Our table was just a short distance from the oven, and the chef nodded with a knowing smile when I gave him a thumbs-up near the end of our meal. Toby's provides a fine selection of bottled and tap beers to wash all these calories down. Go there thirsty and hungry, walk away satisfied...!
