The place was filthy and very hot! A/C was set at 80 to conserve energy, however with the crowd of people there. It was propbolly around 100 degrees indoors. Outside was no better very hot and water cost 3.50 a bottle. I had 4 young children and I was afraid they would dehydrate since there was no shade and all the shows are in the direct sun. My idea was that at least indoors they would cool off but they are trying to conserve energy by setting A/C to 80 degrees. Excuse me but when paying around 13 dollars per child I expect that at least we should be comfortable. Set the A/C to 70. Not an enjoyable experience! Would not go back and all the nice /cool exhibits are closed due to the hurricane.

I realize that the Aquarium is still re-construting from the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy but, what is open leaves a lot to be desired. First of all, they should not be charging the full amount at this time and secondly, there should be a senior discount. The Sea Lion Show, while informative, was too short to be worth being herded in and out. A professional should be hired to orchestrate a real show. The two sea lions certainly seemed capable of performing for the crowd. Hearing the narration and watching the Walrus' being fed was just as entertaining. The Sponge Bob 4D movie was a great attraction for the younger set. This was done very well. Will give the Aquarium another chance when construction is completed and the new shark exhibit is in place.

The place is tiny, you can see everything in 7-10 minutes. At the moment there is really not much to see since they are renovation the place.

What a terrific day we had at the Aquarium . Arrived Sunday at 10 AM when they opened and before they became too crowded. Wonderful exhibits, staff on hand to answer all the grand children's questions, and some hands on exhibits. Loved watchingt the Penquins getting fed, and the Sea Lion Show was terrific.....including seeing the Sea Lion up close ( not to touch) but to do a selfie is you wished!!! The different species of fish and the colors, shapes, and sizes will leave you breathless.

There are tables where you can eat...if you have brought snacks and a drink, that is absolutely fine to eat out in the open or in a covered pavilion where you can watch the ocean and ships.

We went to the 4D movie and it was fun...we even got sprayed with mist from the screen!! We were a family of two boys, Benjamin 8 and Sammy 6, two parents in their 40's , and two grandparents---21 plus!!! Each of us said it was a wonderful learning experience and we plan on a return visit.
