“Nice Aquarium”
Reviewed November 18, 2013

Went to this aquarium one Saturday in November since I was in Brooklyn and was pleasantly surprised. The facility recovered nicely from Sandy. The Shark tank was not available BUT the Sea Lion Show was great! They did a great job with the show and the 2 large Sea Lions that performed. The kids there had a great time. I felt the admission @ $9.95 (discounted since some exhibits were not available due to Sandy) was reasonable for what was being offered at the time. Not too sure if I would want to pay more than this even when they are back on track. Worth a visit now though.

Due to the recent hurricane and the damage caused, the place is still incomplete and a lot of attractions will be added by the year 2016
.we. Visited the aquarium thinking it would at least take us 3 hours to see the attractions but we were done within an hour and that's including the sea lion show which was really amazing.
But we weren't disappointed because right next to the museum is the famous boardwalk so we spent some time there.
Tip. Look up on the internet if more attractions are added to the museum prior to visiting as it's not much to see at the present moment.

“Worth it for sea lion show”
Reviewed October 29, 2013

Obviously only partially open but it was worth it for the sea lion show and all the pre show entertainment, certainly nothing special to write home about seemed to be lots of work going on so will be worth a visit when it is fully open up again, it's great that they kept some part of it open whilst rebuilding, plus any venue that plays "Rockaway beach" is gonna get a good review from me!! :-) think there was buggy parking not 100% sure

“Fair time at the aquarium. ”
Reviewed October 23, 2013 via mobile

They are very upfront with you about parts of the aquarium being closed. The sea lion show was worth the $9 I paid to get in. Both of my children were under 2 so they were free. It would not have been worth it otherwise. There just was not a lot to see.

“90% Closed”
Reviewed October 13, 2013

When it was fully open (Before Hurricane Sandy) this was a good place to visit. Now A year post hurricane they're somewhat open, They tell you when you buy the ticket that two attractions are closed. The Jellyfish and the shark Exhibits. What they don't tell you is that those areas comprise most of the property. I felt ripped off after paying the $9.95 admission and the $13.00 Parking fee.
Not nice, NY Zoological Society...
