“If you Like Fish”

The good parts were little fish that look like umbrellas that glow and gigantic walruses. Otherwise it is not entertaining. I've seen better aquariums where divers interact with the creatures.

“Fun aquarium”
Reviewed March 3, 2013

It was a pretty fun trip to the aquarium; it was almost like half aquarium and half zoo because they had a lot of outdoors large sea mammals. It was very fun!

“Waste of time”
Reviewed February 9, 2013

This aquarium is far away from the center of Brooklyn. The worst aquarium I have ever been to. One of the most overrated places in Coney Island, visiting it will only disappoint. With so much else to see in the area do not waste your time here.

“A Fish Tank Grows in Brooklyn”
Reviewed January 19, 2013

The New York Aquarium, located in Coney Island, is the perfect aquarium for families or folks who want to enjoy exploring sea and ocean life. It is large enough to display many interesting and well designed exhibits and yet small enough not to get too overwhelmed. There are also seal/dolphin shows, nice cafe/snack areas and, of course, a nice gift shop. Before or after your visit, you can enjoy a nice walk on the Coney Island Boardwalk. You will not be disappointed. I'm sure you'll have a very pleasant experience.

“This is a world class Aquarium.”
Reviewed January 9, 2013

Hard to get to. (It's a long subway ride to Coney Island from Manhattan). But once you're there it'a an unbelievable experience. Your kids will remember it for years. So much to see, and so many nice people to help you get around. If you go, don't forget to try the original Nathan's on the boardwalk....(much better than the clones around the food courts.)
