This bar and music venue has a big reputation and we went expecting something more than we found and therefore were a bit disappointed. The staff greeted us in a friendly manner when we proclaimed that we were there 'for the jazz', and we were shuffled into the small back room where there were 9 folding chairs, 3 small tables with 2/3 chair each, an upright piano and small raised stage. We were there on our own for about 10 minutes before anyone else arrived. The pianist arrived briskly and complained to the bar staff that her band mates had flight problems and also complained about the air conditioning (it was very cold in the room!). She sat at the piano and began taking it apart, said to herself that a very good friend of hers was arriving to play with her and he promptly arrived and they started playing without any warm-up or discussion. And it was as if they were playing alone, for themselves only with no attempt to communicate either with each other or the audience. All in all - a very disappointing experience.
