“You don't need me to tell you this is a must do.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 30, 2013

The walk across the bridge is one of the great things to do in NYC. It is always crowded. Do not be afraid to do it at night. There are plenty of other people there. If you have time walk off the bridge in Brooklyn and visit the Brooklyn Bridge park. A really neat place to go. I particularly like the area to the south of the bridge.

The Brooklyn Bridge is a Must to do while in New York, it took us a half an hour to walk over the bridge, but it was a great experience.

“Iconic”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 30, 2013

I used to live in Brooklyn and work in Manhattan, now I live near another iconic bridge in Bristol, the Clifton Suspension bridge. I think it is quite strange to rate these as tourist attractions or destination although of course they do attract people. For me though, for 3 years the Brooklyn Bridge was part of my everyday life and a fundamental part of the landscape. It has a different character every day and if you have the chance visit more than once to get a real view of NYC. The main drawback of the Brooklyn Bridge is the crowds and the insane bikers and joggers, but for a less crowded view I would suggest visiting the Brooklyn promendade, especially at night.

Ah Brooklyn, why did I ever leave you....

“Good view but under rennovation”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 30, 2013

The bridge itself is magnificent, and it offers views of the Manhattan Skyline, both North and South, as well as some aspects of the East River and of Brooklyn, but it is undergoing rennovation, so your view is somewhat hampered... be prepared. Access on the Manhattan side by the college is mared by a crude construction sign, keep a sharp eye out for it.
