Owner description: Opened in 1883, the Brooklyn Bridge provides passage between Brooklyn and Manhattan for motorists, trains, bicycles and pedestrians. One of the primary symbols of New York City, it is a marvel of design and provides spectacular views of the city's skyline.

This has become one of the most popular parts of a New York City visit, but that also means that there's normally a ton of people on the bridge. Watch out for bikers--they have their lanes, so you really should get out of them if you don't want to get run over. But stay where you're supposed to be, and you'll be safe and get great views.

Consider taking the Manhattan Bridge if you're headed to Manhattan afterwards. The two bridges go to close areas in Brooklyn (although not in Manhattan), and it'll give you another view on the way back into Manhattan.

Unfortunatley the bridge was under construction so we didnt get the great views. However the walk was long but enjoyable, I would like to do the walkwhen the construction is complete or bike across

Very busy bridge
Nice walk across both ways
Stopped in a diner in Brooklyn for offer and cheesecake which was very watery much like a mousse
They reckon it was the best cheesecake in Brooklyn, I'd hate to see the worst
Bridge anyway was fantastic structure

We walked halfway of the Beooklyn bridge was quite busy with pedestrians, joggers and cyclists having to use one labe each way but once we hit the halfway section it wilted down.
We took aome amazing pictures even with the new freedom tower(unfinished) in the background! Its a must!

Brooklyn Bridge is one of the fine attraction to visit in New York. the bridge has separate way for the pedestrians and cyclists from the rest of the motor traffic. In the middle of the bridge you can have amazing views and pictures and cool breeze. you will definitely enjoy visiting there and go by walk to enjoy to fullest..
