Stayed a week and could not have enjoyed it more. The view is incedible in the mountains with the towering pine tress and you are able to see the river below and the giant paddle wheel boat cruise by.
The hostess, Susan, was gracious and accommodating in everywhere. The train was spotless and the atttention to detail was incredible. I am not a B&B person normally but his was the best of both worlds. You had the privacy of your own car + private bath (with a great showere) and if you chose you could visit the "communal car" where you lounged on velvet coaches; listened to an incredible sound system and relaxed with a glass (or more) of wine all while surrounded by gorgeous views.
I actually cancelled my nights at the Captain Cook in Anchorage so I could extend my stay there.
Last but not least is the incedible breakfast that Susan makes. She could easily extend into a restaurant if she chose. All I can say is WOW this is a find!
