“Water freezes quick”
Reviewed July 29, 2012

Yeah, it's gimmicky, but fun. Throw some water for an instant freeze, pound a nail with a frozen banana, see some frozen motor oil. C'mon, it is only $8

“Nice touch”
Reviewed July 12, 2012

As Canadians we are used to cold weather. It was nothing new for us but we can appreciate the idea for people coming from the south of the USA.

“A Lil cheesy-but what the heck...”
Reviewed July 7, 2012

so you've never experienced -40...right? well-this is the place to decide if you will like it. Nice little room in the back with an ice chair that you can take your pic on. also do the water crystallizing experience. For people that live in Fairbanks (or visiting for Minnesota) some good entertainment to see others paying for what you get (and probably don't like or care for much) for free!

“Test out your freezability”
Reviewed July 4, 2012

We went into the 40 Below Fairbanks freezers at the Discovery Riverboat pavilion. It is free and was great fun. They take a photo and are not pushy if you do not want to buy it. But if you do, it is an affordable $8 and an extra few bucks to have them email you a copy. It was great to see how cold 40 below is and what the people of Fairbanks endure every winter!

“Cold”
Reviewed June 27, 2012

This was a little disappointing...the room was cold..but the doors opening and closing for all the people didn't allow the 40 below. More a tourist trap...the cost of the picture was fair..$5 to email it to you.
